Vans partnered with JPEGMAFIA on his “crowd-sourced” music video for his song“Prone!”

Founded on the idea of Exquisite Corpse, the creative team concocted a harebrained scheme, asking what if a crowd of fans could make a music video together?

How do you even cut a music video with a crew of 500? Helmed by Director Felix Brady/Stink, it was such an ambitious ask: wanting to make something artful and something that felt curated from that footage.

Set the seemingly impossible task of assembling the rushes into something sensational, Final Cut's Ryan Beck not only managed to create a film that played with the space without giving the audience whiplash, he also tinkered with the form in a number of joyful and surprising ways, all tightly tucked in the promo's 2-minute runtime.

Here’s a writeup by SHOTS on how it all came together.
